During December, five of the six planned visits to the branch schools and training centers affiliated with the Western Regional Training Center of the Comptroller General's Office (CGR) were completed. These visits included GESTA (MINDUS), PREGER (MITRANS), CESPANEC (ANEC), CECOFIS (MFP), and CNCA (AZCUBA). The purpose of these visits was to resume the exchange of experiences, refine teaching methodologies, and strengthen mutual collaboration, ultimately aiming to improve the quality and impact of professional training and development.
Each visit included a tour of the facilities to assess the structural and technological conditions of the classrooms and laboratories, which are used for learning. The main training activities offered and the initiatives employed to make them more engaging were analyzed, as were the 2026 projections reflected in the annual training programs for the coming period. These projections were shared to broaden their dissemination and explore potential partnerships.
The meeting also addressed the completion of teaching staff positions and the hiring of contracted professors; alternatives for paying tenured professors and specialists, in accordance with current legislation and based on consultations with the Ministry of Labor and Social Security (MTSS), for which the Comptroller General's Office Training Strategy for the period 2025-2030 was provided.
In particular, discussions focused on the training and professional development of staff, the support and follow-up for future generations of professionals in each sector, and the auditor certification course, with the aim of ensuring the effectiveness of their auditing work.
