The president of the National Association of Economists and Accountants of Cuba, Oscar Luis Hung Pentón, presided on January 20, 2020 in the Aula Magna of the University of Havana, the ceremony of delivery of the National Economic Awards for 2019, granted by the National Association of Economists and Accountants of Cuba (ANEC). On this occasion, the "Carlos Rafael Rodríguez" Award for the Work of Life, in the economics section, was conferred on Dr. C. Economics Norma Ruíz Echevarría, who was founder and honorary member of ANEC, with more forty years of experience in teaching.
