From the Che Guevara Study Center, on the morning of October 8, 53 years after Che's assassination in Bolivia, the Auditors Code of Ethics was launched, in its updated version and the one that together with the Cuban Auditing Standards and its Procedures Manual that will enter into force as of January 1, 2021.
The meeting, chaired by the Comptroller General of the Republic, was attended by the First Vice Comptroller General and Vice Comptrollers General, a representation of the comptrollers, heads of management and auditors of the CGR and Heads of the Central Internal Audit Units.
The Supervisory Auditor Yanet Águila Rodríguez of the Integral Directorate of Control of Infrastructure, Construction and Industry, read the Code of Ethics, which constitutes a statement on the values and principles, which together with compliance with the Cuban Auditing Standards, should constitute the main guide in the behavior and performance of the auditors of the National Audit System.
